Founder & Mestre
Mestre Hiram Ribeiro
Transforming capoeiristas into prepared coaches for children in England.
Mestre Hiram Ribeiro was born in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil, the cradle of Capoeira. His journey with the art form began in the streets and academies of Bahia, where he developed not only technique but a deep respect for the culture, music and community that Capoeira carries.
In 2004 he brought that vision to London. What started as a dream to share authentic Capoeira in England grew into a structured movement: the vision for Capoeira Club London was born that year, and the academy was officially established in 2012.
Today, Capoeira Club London is more than an academy. It is a network of schools, franchises and community projects shaped by the FMB method — Fun, Motivation and Boundaries — a teaching framework developed and formatted by Mestre Hiram to help coaches deliver safe, engaging and progressive classes to children.
